ID-MobileWorks™, Mobizent's mobile identification application, provides Law Enforcement Departments the ability to conduct ID Checks efficiently and effectively.

ID-MobileWorks , Mobizent's mobile identity checking application is used by law enforcement to automatically check the identity of individuals in the field. This software operateson our partners handheld devices, mobile data terminals and tablet devices wirelessly connected to fingerprint devices such as Cogents Bluecheck device or connected directly via a clip-on to the Handheld device.

ID-MobileWorks, can be added as a module to Mobizent's TicketWorks solution or used in a stand-alone mode, integrated with a Field Investigation application, to verify and confirm the identity in the field. This frontend solution connects to a Mobizent back-end solution that monitors and keeps track of all the mobile devices in the field and connects to the local AFIS, with a connection to NCIC in the next phase. This solution has already had 10 arrests of individuals with Warrants in the field.

The fingerprint capture devices used in conjunction with the Handheld device captures the fingerprint in approved NIST compliant formats and stores these fingerprints and ensures only quality prints are taken by the officer. The fingerprints are then transferred to the Handheld and wirelessly transmitted to the Mobizent Back-end for processing with AFIS.

The Motorola Mobile AFIS re-defines the standard for mobile biometric identification with simultaneous FIPS 201 certified fingerprint sensor, ISO compliant contact card reader/writer and contactless contact card reader/writer as well as phone with push-to-talk capabilities, integrated 1D/2D barcode scanners, integrated GPS, and up to 256 MB RAM to support multiple applications on one device.
