An officer in the field uses a handheld device with fingerprint identification attachment to capture the fingerprint information in the field. The data is then sent to the Santa Clara fingerprint database, hosted by San Jose Police Department, for a possible match. If there is a match a “hit” message is immediately sent back to the officer on the device with necessary information which may also include a Mugshot, if available, to ensure identification.

Mobizent fields Rochester Housing Authority Mobile Work Order Project
July 1, 2009, Edison, NJ—Mobizent announces the fielding of their new mobility project with the Rochester Housing Authority. Mobizent has provide a complete Work Order solution to the Rochester Housing Authority using 50 Motorola MC75 Handhelds This new application gives the Rochester Housing Authority the ability to receive maintenance requests through a call center, automatically assign work orders and have them show up immediately in the hands of their maintenance folks in the field. The solution also provides an inventory solution that is immediately updated when a maintenance worker uses inventory in the field and updates it through the handheld. The handheld easily swipes the barcode of the inventory item and it is deducted from the main database.
The Motorola MC75 handhelds provide GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi and can be used to replace the current phones in the field. The Mobizent back-office solution that connects to the handhelds in the field will be able to keep track of works and provide a complete emterprise solution to enter, update and assign work orders for individuals, a team, and the entire authority.

Edison, NJ. - August 10, 2010 – Mobizent today announced the launching of its iphone solution set with the release of a Shelter application that allows the public to easily enter the location of homeless individual it has observed. This free application is an extention of Mobizents current homeless application suite of products that allow City Government the ability to interview, monitor and aid in getting the Homeless into Shelters. After the public has entered information about the Homeless person it has observed, the information is e-mailed back for processing. This solution will allow Mobizent to build on its reputation as a leading provider of mobility solutions for the Government marketplace and expand this into a traditional Commercial space.
